Review - Mountaineering in the Sierra Nevada

If I were to rate just those parts of this book in which King describes his adventures and the people he meets, I would have given it a 7 or 8. But two-thirds of the book are filled with descriptions of the scenery, and these, especially with his florid writing style, are hard to follow, repetitive and dull.
