Notes:The third book in The Hunger Games trilogy. Katniss Everdeen is with the rebel who are gaining ground in their battle against the capital. Peeta is rescued, but has been brainwashed to kill Katniss. As the final battle begins, Katniss moves with a select force to try to kill President Snow. Before she can reach him, there's an attack and her sister Prim is killed and she is badly burned. When she recovers, she is taken to the place of Snow's trial. But meanwhile, she learns that Cain, the leader of the rebellion, ordered the attack that killed Prim, so Katniss kills her instead. She is held prisoner for a while, then returned to her home to live in seclusion with Peeta, who has recovered.

Review - Mockingjay

I don't really know whether I think this trilogy is good or not. I thought it was overly gruesome, and none of the characters really appealed to me. They were well-written, but I struggled some to stay interested by the time I got to the third book.
