Review - Gateway to Empire

The history of the Chicago region and the Dearborn massacre were interesting, but Eckert sure took his time getting there—relating every single fact he was able to drag up about Tecumseh and his family and Kinzie and his family. The book could have been half as long and still covered the same ground.
