Notes:Parker Sante, traumatized by the death of his father, hasn't spoken a word in five years. Hanging out in a hotel on day, looking for something to steal, he meets Zelda—who claims to be 246 years old. She informs him that she's going to jump off the Golden Gate Bridge, but agrees to spend the next few days with him, riotously spending the rest of her money. Parker decides to give her a reason to live, and she decides to do the same for him. In the end, she does jump because she's seen all of life she wants to see and doesn't want any more future. But her affection for Parker convinces him to apply for college and take speech therapy.

Review - Thanks for the Trouble

Another author who is proud that he knows foul language. The story is interesting, although without Christ, the meaning for existence that the author comes up with is "change." Just keep changing. It wasn't convincing.
