Notes:Biography of Charles Schulz, the creator and artist of the Peanuts comic strip. He presents Schulz as an insecure man, confident and determined in his own talent but unsure of himself when it comes to how others feel about him. The author does a good job of showing how Schulz's insecurities made it into his comics and made them great when everyone else was just doing gags.

Review - Schulz and Peanuts: A Biography

I enjoyed the book for the most part, although the endless wallowing in Schulz's insecurities and unhappiness got a little old. I saw some parallels between the say Schulz viewed life and the way I do, fearing failure and never sure he could take credit for his successes.
