Reviews for Olura
Review - Olura
Not very realistic characters, overly complicated plot, way too much talk about obscure politics, and a lot more planning than action.

| Notes: | Philip Ardower is in Spain researching languages when he meets Olura Manoli, a beautiful, wealthy young woman who is escorting an African statesman on vacation. Philip falls in love, and when Olura asks his help with a problem, he jumps in without thinking. The problem is a corpse found in Olura's bathroom and obviously intended to discredit the statesman. Philip takes on the job of disposing of the body, but the Spanish police find the body and evidence to link it to Philip. He and Olura get in all sorts of pickles and troubles. Philip finds out the real murderers were two French activists hiding out in Spain. He has to hide, but Olura's uncle, who has international influence, manages to clear his and Olura's names and get the two activists delivered to the African's country where they disappear. |
