Bertie Wooster visits his aunt, and, of course, Jeeves goes along. Bertie decides to help two young friends with their love lives. He also wants to help his aunt get some money from her husband. But all of Bertie's plans go awry and things are in a muddle. Jeeves solves the problem by having Bertie ring the fire alarm. Everyone rushes out of the house, angry with Bertie. Then Jeeves announces that their all locked out of the manor and suggests that Bertie ride his bike 14 miles round-trip to get the spare key. When Bertie finally gets back—without the key—he finds the two couples deeply in love and Bertie's aunt rolling in money. Why? Because Jeeves knew that nothing brings people together like a common enemy, so he set Bertie up to be that enemy. And they weren't even mad at Bertie any longer once they realized he'd made a 14-mile trip for no reason.

Review - Right Ho, Jeeves

Occasionally I've found myself in the mood for a Wodehouse novel, but this wasn't one of those times. I didn't care what happened, I didn't think it was even mildly amusing, and I found it a chore to read.
