Review - Vesper Flights

I've had enough of Macdonald now. She's not nearly as deep as she thinks she is. For example, early in this book she figured out that she's uncomfortable with bird nests because she was an incubator baby. Right. She's totally bought into the woke agenda and somehow manages to find support for it through her interpretation of nature. In one of the essays, she talks about her spirituality, but there's no link to God and, ultimately, she ends up just finding meaning through nature. She refers to death as a long walk toward darkness, which is very, very sad.
