Review - Woman Who Knew Too Much, The
Yawn. Poor pacing, too many unexplained bodies, overly-complicated plot. Just a weak book.

| Notes: | Celia Blandings, actress and mystery writer, buys a used book and finds the plans for a murder on a piece of paper. On the advice of a friend, she asks ex-cop Pete Greco to help. The stumble around, tripping over dead bodies and being followed by mysterious men. It all turns out to be an attempt by a trophy wife to off her wealthy husband who happens to be the head of a clandestine government organization. Celia and Greco (who is described as a tough guy but spends much of the book being beaten unconscious) manage to save the husband and prevent the wife's tell-all book from being published. |
