I went to this game with a friend. Of the five games at Wrigley Field that I attended this season, this was the only one that didn’t start at 3:05. The game was notable chiefly because Expos Sal Butera and Bryn Smith hit their first career home runs on consecutive pitches in the fourth inning off the Cubs’ Ray Fontenot. The Cubs lost 8-7.
