Lee Creek Dam

This is the dam on Lee Creek in Devil’s Den State Park.

There were two posts on top of the dam. (One of them is visible in the above photo.) I think they are used to control the flow of water somehow, but they don’t look as though they’ve been used in a while.  I took some close-ups, mostly as an experiment in artsy photography. I’m not sure I succeeded, but I had fun trying.

Nearby was a monument to the CCC workers who built the dam and most of the buildings and roads in the park during the Depression. As long as I was in the mood to take close-ups, I took a few of the monument too.
