Description:Max Zorin (Christopher Walken) plans on cornering a microchip market by flooding Silicon Valley. His intent is to explode a bomb in a mine that will set off earthquakes that will drain lakes into the valley — or something like that. James Bond (Roger Moore) follows Zorin to his horse ranch where he meets Zorin's henchwoman Mayday (Grace Jones) and Stacey (Tanya Roberts), a geologist who works with Bond to bring down Zorin. There's silliness with a rigged equestrian course, a stolen firetruck and a blimp tied to the Golden Gate Bridge, but in the end, Bond, with Mayday's help (after she realizes Zorin doesn't love her), keeps the bomb from blowing up the faults, kills Zorin and ends up with Stacey.

Review - A View to a Kill

Not much to like about this one. Roger Moore hated it too. I don't think any shot of Bond from more than five feet way was actually Moore. Grace Jones is bizarre and creepy. I've never been much of a fan of Christopher Walken, and Tanya Roberts may be attractive but she has the most grating voice on the planet. Patrick Macnee from The Avengers appears as a fellow spy who gets killed early on.
