Review - After the Thin Man
Very complicated, and with only a touch of the witty dialogue the first movie had.

| Description: | Nick (William Powell) and Nora (Myrna Loy) Charles travel to San Francisco to get away from detective work. They're soon dragged into a case involving Nora's family. Her cousin Selma's husband Robert has disappeared. Nick soon traces Robert to a nightclub where he's planning to run away with a singer — as soon as he gets some money from David (Jimmy Stewart), Selma's former boyfriend (who's paying him to leave). Then Robert is killed. There's a whole bunch of plot twists involving a whole bunch of characters, but in the end Nick figures out the murderer is David who wants revenge against Robert for taking Selma away from him. |
