Review - A Fine Madness
To insane to be funny. Woodward and Seberg were both good in their roles, but they couldn't save this clunker.

| Description: | Poet Samson Shillitoe (Sean Connery) has writers' block, which often throws him into tantrums. His ever-suffering wife Rhoda (Joanne Woodward) tries to help and is even willing to put up with his frequent philandering. But when things keep getting worse, she contacts psychiatrist West who agrees to see Samson. And when cops show up to arrest him for alimony payments, Samson agrees to enter West's clinic. West thinks he's making progress until he catches Samson with his wife, Lydia (Jean Seberg). This convinces West to give Samson a lobotomy, but it doesn't do any good and he goes right back to trying to write and arguing with Rhoda and anyone else who gets in his way. |
