It was a very warm August Saturday when we stopped at Mug n Bun Drive-In in Indianapolis. The eat-in-your-car spots were in the sun, so we decided to dine in the small building next door which is basically an indoor picnic area. The carhops walk over from the main restaurant with the food.
We had hamburgers and root beer. I had onion rings and my wife had French fries. My hamburger was average, but everything else was simply amazing. The root beer is the best I’ve ever had, no question. The onion rings were equally tasty, and they gave me so many of them I had to quit.
