People who put inflatable holiday decorations in their yards are the type of people who use leaf blowers and wear black socks with shorts when mowing the lawn.
If you happen to have inflatable holiday decorations in your yard, I’m sorry. There are no exceptions to this rule.
But does the inverse of your rule apply? I use a leaf blower all year long and think that wearing black socks with shorts makes a powerful fashion statement (extra points for wearing sandals). Am I doomed to seeing the backside of an inflatable Scooby-Doo from my living room window?
Perhaps if you had a half acre with four mature trees, you’d change your opinion on the leaf blower.
What? I didn’t say anything bad about leaf blowers.
And I don’t have a half acre, but I do have a fairly good-size yard that backs on a forest preserve and two neighbors with large trees. I also have a rake …
True, you did not say anything bad about leaf blowers; just about the people who use them. :-)
I was simply pointing out the connection.
Maybe I like inflatable lawn decorations and black socks with shorts …
