There was a large crowd on a small landing between floors. Everyone was waiting to get a picture taken with the Ram mascot and two cheerleaders. I got in line. When my turn came, I handed the chair to the mascot and said, “Not with me, with my chair.” The three of them were surprised, but laughed and posed. The cheerleader on the left asked me what it was all about. When I told her, she said, “It’s like Flat Stanley, only a chair.” As I walked away, the woman behind me in line said, “I’ll bet that’s the only time tonight you’ve been asked to pose with a chair.” The cheerleader said, “Probably, but that’s pretty cool.”
So I’ve got that going for me. Which is nice.
