Summer Afternoon
On a lazy Sunday afternoon in late July, I took a seven-mile stroll through the prairie at Silver Creek Conservation Area. I had all 580 acres to myself for the entire two hours I was there.
Lincoln Park Conservatory
After touring the zoo, we took a stroll through the Lincoln Park Conservatory. The greenhouse was built in 1895 to display exotic plants and to grow plants for the Chicago Park District.
