I drove with coworkers to Dallas for a conference. We stopped in Denison, Texas, on the way home to see Dwight Eisenhower’s birthplace. It was just after dawn, a couple hours before the visitor center opened and the tours began. But the house only had period furniture anyway, so I didn’t care. We were able to park in the lot and walk around the house for several minutes.
