After the lady with the big lens drove them out into the lake, several of the pelicans took off and flew in lazy circles over the lake. They were huge and somewhat funny looking, but wow! Were they graceful flyers. It was poetry as they banked and soared against the blue sky and white clouds. They rose higher and their circles got larger until they disappeared from view.
