Five miles and Thirteen Minutes Apart

I stopped twice on December 3, 2009 to photograph the sky. The first photo was taken in Barrington Hills at 3:56 pm looking over a marsh in the Cook County Forest Preserve. The second photo was taken in Fox River Grove at 4:09 pm looking down the Fox River.

And as an added bonus … Here’s a sunrise photo I took at 7:27 am the day before (December 2) on my way to work.

    Wow. Those are stunning! The middle on’s my favorite. The leafless tree in the foreground compliments the fire in the sky.
